The political landscape in Bihar is heating up as Asaduddin Owaisi’s AIMIM prepares for the upcoming assembly elections with the ‘Seemanchal Nyay Yatra.’ The yatra, commencing on September 24th from Kishanganj, will see participation from Owaisi and other key party members. It will traverse through several constituencies across the districts of Kishanganj, Katihar, Purnia, and Araria. The AIMIM aims to build on its previous performance in the Seemanchal region, where it secured five seats in the last election. The party attempted to join the Mahagathbandhan without success. The yatra is aimed at addressing the needs and concerns of the people of Seemanchal, who the party believes have been ignored by other political alliances. The initiative follows similar yatras undertaken by Rahul Gandhi and Tejashwi Yadav.
