Brutal Killing of Minor Cousins Shakes Muzaffarpur; Police Launch Probe

In a tragedy that has stunned the Rampurhari region of Muzaffarpur, two young cousins who went missing during a local village festival have been found dead. The girls, 12-year-old Mausami and 7-year-old Ruchi, disappeared on Sunday while a religious ceremony for ‘Bakhtor Bhuiya Baba’ was being held in the village. The search ended tragically on Wednesday morning when their mutilated bodies were discovered in a ‘Chaur’ or waterlogged field.
