Chhapra Road Accident: 4 Dead as Pickup Flips on Main Highway

Four people lost their lives in a dual-impact accident on the Chhapra-Manjhi main road today. The incident occurred when a pickup driver lost control of the vehicle, causing it to overturn near the PN Singh College area. While the passengers were still reeling from the initial crash, a fast-moving truck crushed several of them on the road. The group, consisting of musicians and dancers, was returning to their village in the Narhi and Jaitara areas of Ballia. Local police from Bhagwan Bazar station reached the spot within minutes to start rescue operations. Initial reports suggest that high speed and poor visibility in the early hours might have contributed to the driver losing control of the pickup truck.
