The body was discovered at 11 PM on Saturday, with her husband’s head split open. She added that a young man from the neighborhood had previously threatened to seize her husband’s e-rickshaw and kill him. The victim had borrowed 10,000 rupees from the accused, but the accused was demanding 20,000 rupees, leading to an argument. The victim’s brother, Amar, reported that the deceased had 5000 rupees in his pocket, which was missing from the scene.
