The Bihar assembly elections are witnessing a surge in political disputes, particularly concerning voter verification. After initial allegations against RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav for having two EPIC numbers, Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Sinha is now facing similar scrutiny. RJD has claimed that Vijay Sinha also has two EPIC cards and has shared the numbers online. One card belongs to his ancestral village in Lakhisarai, while the other is from the Bankipur assembly constituency in Patna. The EPIC number from Lakhisarai is IAF 39393370, and from Patna, it is AFS0853341. Tejashwi Yadav directly accused Vijay Sinha of age fraud. He questioned the Election Commission’s handling of the situation and accused the BJP of corruption. The Congress party has also criticized Vijay Sinha on social media. They raised several questions about the validity of these voter cards. The Congress party also questioned the integrity of the election process, asking what steps would be taken and when, and if election rules are only applicable to certain segments of society.
