In Bihar, a woman identified as Sunaina Devi died by suicide following persistent arguments with her husband, Vikas Kumar, who was unemployed. The couple frequently fought over the financial burden and the husband’s lack of employment. The disputes culminated in Sunaina consuming poison on Monday night. Her husband discovered her unconscious in the bathroom the next morning and rushed her to the hospital, where she was declared dead. Sunaina’s family has alleged foul play, accusing her husband and in-laws of causing her death. Vikas Kumar mentioned that he had previously worked in the private sector, but had been working as a laborer after losing his job, which resulted in disputes at home. The police have sent the body for a post-mortem examination to determine the cause of death and are awaiting the report to decide on further actions.
