Suresh Yadav, a well-known criminal from Gopalganj, Bihar, was murdered in Howrah, West Bengal. The incident occurred at Sandhya Bazar where unknown assailants on a motorcycle shot and killed him. The police were promptly informed, and they arrived to secure the area and begin their investigation. The body was taken for a post-mortem examination. Yadav faced more than 20 criminal charges, including murder.
Suresh Yadav, a resident of Kukurbhukka village, Gopalganj, was known for his involvement in serious crimes. These included the triple murder of Samata Party leader Girish Singh, the murder of Tirvirwa panchayat head Amarjit Yadav, the murder of Munna Singh, a Congress candidate in the 1995 assembly elections, and the murder of Siwan-based criminal Raka Tiwari. He had been wanted by the police for a long period. Yadav had survived two previous attempts on his life.
