The Indian Crossword League (IXL) 2025 is underway, with Philip Koot from Canberra taking the lead in the practice round. The competition, featuring 10 weekly scoring rounds, will officially begin on September 14th. Following Koot, Sohil Bhagat and Harish Kamath, prominent crossword enthusiasts from Bengaluru, secured the second and third positions. The top 10 participants represent various cities in India. Soumya Ramkumar of Manama is also in the top 10, representing international participants. The IXL employs a hybrid online-offline format, including online rounds and an offline grand finale.
