The police were investigating a theft of jewelry and cash totaling Rs 15 lakh and Rs 60,000 respectively, which occurred on August 26th at Vikas Gupta’s residence in the Line Mohalla area. During the raid, the officers were attacked. One woman was taken into custody. The police are investigating the incident, including allegations of physical assault on officers, including the use of brooms and sandals.
