A sea of determined faces filled Delhi’s Talkatora Stadium for the Bihar Development Summit 2026, orchestrated by the Let’s Inspire Bihar (LIB) campaign. This high-profile conclave united ministers, lawmakers, and overseas representatives to blueprint Bihar’s ascent to development superpower status by 2047.
Inaugurated by Giriraj Singh, the event saw key addresses from Deputy CM Vijay Sinha and Minister Dr. Dilip Jaiswal, under the guidance of LIB patron IPS Vikas Vaibhav. The lamp-lighting ritual underscored a shared vow for Bihar’s revival.
The program opened with thematic anthems and a four-year retrospective video, followed by electrifying acts from Manisha Jha, poets Shambhu Shikhar, and Nilotpal Mrinal, infusing cultural pride.
Vaibhav’s speech was a clarion call: thanking VIPs and noting 5,000 sign-ups, he reminisced about LIB’s 2021 Patna origins. Now boasting 3.5 lakh members, he reframed the audience as Bihar’s vanguard. Confronting historical slurs, he reclaimed Bihar’s legacy of Nalanda and democratic Vaishali, decrying modern casteism as antithetical to icons like Chanakya.
Emphasizing self-reliance, Vaibhav envisioned a Bihar free from migration, powered by panchayat startups and youth enterprise. He applauded government reforms for unlocking industrial potential.
Giriraj Singh declared Bihar’s development non-negotiable for India’s progress, spotlighting its intellectual heritage and potential in rural industries. He lauded Vaibhav for scaling a personal mission into a pan-India force.
Sinha highlighted LIB’s role in uniting masses for equitable growth, stressing governance transparency and land resolutions for startups. Jaiswal viewed the summit as a serious adjunct to state policies, committing to investor-friendly measures and infrastructure.
Born from Vaibhav’s vision in 2021, LIB transcends divides, operating 30 free centers educating 2,000 kids and linking 600 startups. With goals of district-wise entrepreneurship and NRI involvement, it marches toward Viksit Bihar, promising more national summits ahead.
