Muzaffarpur’s law enforcement has achieved a major breakthrough in the Mohammad Naushad murder case, confirming that the victim was killed over a house-selling dispute and an alleged extra-marital affair. Rural SP Rajesh Singh Prabhakar briefed the media, stating that the Special Investigation Team (SIT) utilized call detail records and forensic evidence to secure the arrests. The three accused, identified as Mohammad Siraj, Mohammad Ashraf, and Mohammad Shahabuddin, have confessed to their involvement in the crime during interrogation. The police recovered significant evidence from the crime scene, including the multi-colored electric wire used in the strangulation, plastic bottles, glasses, and the victim’s mobile phone. The investigation revealed that the killers had meticulously planned the encounter, inviting the victim to join them for a meal before executing the murder.
