Maranga police successfully conducted a rescue operation in the BIADA industrial zone, saving three laborers from the clutches of their employers. Following a frantic tip-off from a victim’s relative, a police team raided the company premises to find three men tied up and severely injured. The victims identified their tormentors as high-ranking officials of the firm, including the manager and managing director. The assault reportedly involved iron rods and an extreme form of physical humiliation involving chili powder. While the police have registered a formal complaint, the victims have expressed fear that evidence might be tampered with, urging the immediate seizure of DVR records.
