SIT Unravels Gruesome Jehanabad Hostel Murder; Accused Canteen Guard Held

Justice is in sight for a five-year-old victim in Jehanabad as the police have arrested the primary suspect, a canteen guard named Mukesh Kumar. The Special Investigation Team (SIT) analyzed several hours of CCTV footage which captured the guard’s suspicious movements around the time the child went missing. While the hostel director was initially questioned, technical evidence shifted the focus to Mukesh. During interrogation, he confessed to murdering the boy to settle a vendetta against the hostel’s director. The community remains in mourning as the police work to finalize the chargesheet for the upcoming trial.
