Former Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Tejashwi Yadav had a narrow escape on Saturday when a truck collided with his convoy in Vaishali district. The incident happened near Goraul on the Patna-Muzaffarpur highway. Yadav was returning to Patna from Madhepura after attending a political rally. The convoy had stopped for a tea break at approximately 12:30 AM when the accident occurred. While Yadav was a short distance away from the vehicles, a truck crashed into two of his security vehicles, injuring three security personnel. The injured individuals were promptly taken to a nearby hospital. The truck driver was arrested at the scene, and the authorities are investigating the cause of the accident. The incident has brought attention to the risks associated with long-distance travel for political figures in Bihar and prompted calls for enhanced security measures and road safety improvements.
