While the process has been ongoing, the new 30-day deadline adds urgency. Oil marketing companies have been directed to identify accounts that haven’t performed biometric verification in recent years. This move primarily targets the unauthorized use of domestic gas in commercial establishments. Once e-KYC is completed, the consumer’s record is updated in the central database, ensuring secure and transparent service.
