In Patna, Bihar, a woman attempted to frame her husband by carrying a country-made pistol to the police station, stating she had taken it from him to defend herself. The police, upon receiving the weapon, began an investigation that exposed a more complex situation. The woman, identified as Kiran Devi, claimed her husband was abusive and had the gun to harm her. The husband, Jago Mahto, countered these allegations, revealing his wife’s suspicious conduct and erratic behavior. The investigation found that Devi would often stay away from home and had a history of assaulting her husband. Neighbors also confirmed that Devi had male friends visiting her, causing tension within the household. Police suspect Devi, with the help of a male friend, planned the incident to frame her husband. Police are seeking to apprehend the person who supplied the pistol.
