Prime Minister Narendra Modi recently highlighted that Bihar’s young generation is significantly benefiting from the substantial improvements experienced by the state. In a virtual address to BJP workers, he contrasted the current atmosphere with a period dominated by Naxalite activities, violence, and economic disruption. He pointed out that many young individuals in Bihar, typically aged 18 to 25, have been shielded from the difficult era that once severely impacted the state, a time characterized by incidents like railway track sabotage and widespread fear.
The Prime Minister emphasized that the creation of a “better environment” in Bihar is primarily benefiting its youth. He also spoke about the forthcoming election results, suggesting a festive atmosphere akin to a “double Diwali.” The first Diwali, he mentioned, was celebrated with the introduction of GST, and another is scheduled for October 20th. He expressed optimism for a further celebratory occasion on November 14th, marking the anticipated victory of the NDA, and specifically acknowledged the indispensable contribution of women to this expected success.
PM Modi also stressed the importance of the ‘Mera Booth, Sabse Mazboot’ (My Booth, Strongest) initiative, describing it as the linchpin of the BJP’s success at the local level. He explained that the party’s strength is derived from the consolidation of individual booth-level efforts. Furthermore, he conveyed his satisfaction with the Mahila Rozgar Yojana, a recent program launched by the NDA government. He confirmed that Rs 10,000 has been disbursed to 1.20 crore women in Bihar, showcasing the scheme’s reach and its positive effect on women’s economic standing.
