BJP MP Sanjay Jaiswal dropped a bombshell in Patna, prophesying that Bengal’s voters will settle scores with Mamata Banerjee over her insult to President Droupadi Murmu. He squarely blamed Banerjee’s tribal prejudice for the snub, calling it unacceptable.
Tension boiled over when President Murmu voiced irritation at a venue switch for her Bengal event, igniting BJP’s wrath. In candid remarks to the press, Jaiswal dissected Banerjee’s mindset: ‘She resents a tribal woman from Odisha’s teaching background becoming President. Her rhetoric and protocol lapses lay bare her biases.’
‘Bengal’s people—and India’s—will make her pay for dishonoring the President,’ he predicted with conviction.
Jaiswal amplified his critique on X: ‘TMC’s flouting of decorum by ignoring President Murmu and Adivasi feelings is tragic. The office is politics-proof; its dignity is non-negotiable. Mamata’s base politics shreds democracy’s essence.’
Turning to Bihar politics, he praised Nishant Kumar’s entry. ‘Educated entrants like Nitish ji’s son enhance politics’ quality. Doors are open to the worthy,’ Jaiswal stated.
For Women’s Day, he lauded women’s transformative influence. ‘Their roles in family, society, and country-building are exemplary. Renew our vows for their honor, security, and strength today. Greetings to all mothers, sisters, daughters.’
