Thursday marked a milestone for public safety in Gautam Buddh Nagar, where Police Commissioner Laxmi Singh greenlit 25 state-of-the-art two-wheeler PRVs from Sector-108. These Dial-112 additions will patrol Noida, Central Noida, and Greater Noida, focusing on underserved remote spots, expressways, and vulnerable routes to sharpen police presence.

Anticipating the Noida International Airport’s operational debut, authorities have amplified mobile patrolling around the facility and its access roads. Three police posts’ repositioning complements the PRVs, which are tailored for swift navigation in congested or distant areas.

Zonal distribution includes 10 vehicles each for Noida and Central Noida zones, with 5 extra for Greater Noida. Advanced comms and response mechanisms make these PRVs game-changers, promising quicker interventions in accidents, criminal activities, and crises, while visibly reassuring the community.

The commissionerate’s modernization drive shines through this deployment, transforming traditional policing into a tech-savvy, responsive model. As urban challenges mount, such innovations are vital for maintaining order and trust.

Notable attendees included Additional Commissioner Dr. Rajiv Narayan Mishra, Central Noida DCP Shailendra Kumar Singh, and Traffic DCP Abhay Kumar Mishra, reflecting strong leadership in action.
