Centre’s panel for air high quality administration in NCR shuts down inside 5 months of formation
The central authorities’s Commission for Air Quality Management in National Capital Region and Adjoining Areas has been shut down inside 5 months of its structure.

Talking to PTI, Union Environment Secretary R P Gupta mentioned for the reason that ordinance was not launched in Parliament inside six weeks of its conference, it has lapsed and consequently, the fee additionally stands shut.
“The ordinance never became an Act. Any ordinance has to be introduced within six weeks of the convening of Parliament. It did not happen, so the ordinance has lapsed and hence, the commission is dissolved,” he mentioned.
The fee was headed by M M Kutty, a former secretary within the ministry of petroleum and pure fuel.
