Chhattisgarh: Man jumps earlier than transferring practice after seeing cop beat up father

BILASPUR: A 23-year-old man killed himself by leaping in entrance of a transferring practice in Chhattisgarh’s Bilaspur district, police stated on Wednesday.
Sources stated the person took the acute step after he noticed a constable beating his father at a police station within the Bilaspur district.
Harish Chandra Gendle dedicated suicide on Monday by leaping in entrance of a transferring practice close to Belha railway station, stated a police officer.
He was a resident of Bhainsbod village.
“Gendle’s motorcycle hit the bicycle of a school girl on Monday leading to a quarrel, following which she lodged a complaint with the police,” the officer stated.
According to native police sources, police visited the home of the Gendle household on the grievance of the woman and took Harish’s father to the Belha police station.
Gendle too rushed to the police station the place he noticed a police constable thrashing his father, they stated.
On the spur of the second, Gendle rushed to the railway station and jumped earlier than a practice, an incident which triggered protests exterior the police station on Tuesday demanding the registration of a First Information Report (FIR) in opposition to the constable.
“In the backdrop of protests and preliminary investigation, Bilaspur SSP suspended the constable for negligence,” the officer stated.
