Authorities in Sukma, Chhattisgarh, have achieved a major breakthrough with the surrender of 20 Naxalites. This group included several individuals who had a combined reward of 33 lakh. The surrendering Naxalites consisted of 9 women and 11 men, all implicated in numerous significant cases. The surrender was a result of combined operations involving the DRG District Force and the 111th, 217th, 218th, 226th, and 203rd battalions of the CRPF and CoBRA. The surrender was carried out in front of Sukma SP Kiran Chavan, CRPF Second-in-Command Officer Suresh Singh, ASP Abhishek Verma, SDOP Parameshwar Tilakwar, and DSP Manish Ratre.
