An extraordinary event has occurred in the Bastar district of Chhattisgarh. In the village of Koyanar, under the Parpa police station, a 9-month-old girl has left everyone astounded. Manvi, the young girl, came across a venomous snake. Thinking it was a toy, she began biting it, which led to the snake’s death. The child herself was unharmed. The event took place on August 13th. The child was in a room, playing, while her mother was in another room resting. The snake entered the room, which the child then grabbed, interpreting it as a toy. She began chewing on the snake, leading to its demise. Upon discovering this, the mother immediately intervened and took the child to the hospital. The family subsequently took the child to Mekaz Hospital in Jagdalpur. Doctors examined the child and, after 24 hours of observation, confirmed that she was safe and discharged her. According to the doctors, the snake died from the bites. The mother, Deepika, stated that she was frightened when she saw her daughter with the snake. The incident has become a talking point in the community. The villagers are now affectionately calling Manvi ‘the little lioness,’ and the story has spread widely on social media.
