Taking swift action, the Chief Minister has ordered a high-level inquiry into the incident and directed authorities to strictly enforce safety norms across all industrial units in the state. He emphasized that any party found guilty of negligence would face stringent legal action. The district administration has been tasked with reviewing the safety certifications of the plant to check for any recent violations or missed maintenance schedules, while compensation for victims’ families is being processed.
