Chhattisgarh is on track for significant developments in sports and healthcare. During a meeting between Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai and Union Minister Mansukh Mandaviya, several important decisions were made. The Bastar Olympics will now be recognized as the ‘Khelo India Tribal Games’, providing a national platform for tribal youth and promoting the state’s traditional sports culture. Also, the Chief Minister proposed the establishment of 220-bed medical and nursing colleges in Raipur and Bilaspur. This initiative aims to enhance health education and improve medical facilities. The Union Minister assured that the government will soon approve this proposal. Furthermore, discussions included establishing a regional center for the Lakshmibai National Institute of Physical Education (LNIPE) and enhancing sports infrastructure. The Union Minister has committed to fast-tracking these initiatives. The meeting was attended by the Principal Secretary and Secretary to the Chief Minister.
