Health authorities in Chhattisgarh have announced that 12 new cases of COVID-19 have been confirmed. This comes as the state continues to monitor the spread of the virus. Alongside these new cases, 15 individuals have recovered and been released from medical care, according to the latest report from the Corona Control and Demand Center.
Raipur recorded the highest number of new infections, with 6 new cases. Bilaspur reported 4 new cases, and Durg district reported 2. A total of 45 patients have recovered from the disease across the state.
There are currently 42 active COVID-19 cases in the state. Of these, 35 patients are in home isolation and are not showing any serious symptoms. Six patients are receiving treatment in general wards. One patient is in critical condition and is in the ICU.
The Chhattisgarh Health Department is urging residents to seek immediate testing if they experience symptoms such as a cold, cough, fever, or breathing difficulties. The department advises that while there’s no need to panic, people should remain vigilant and take necessary precautions.
