In an important development, the Chhattisgarh police have achieved a notable victory in their anti-Naxal operations, arresting two female Naxalites. Paro Hapka and Sunita alias Sangeeta Mandavi were identified as the apprehended individuals. Both were affiliated with the Kutul LOS (Local Operating Squad) of the Maoist Mad Division. The arrests took place in the Kohkameta police station area. Their involvement included expanding the ‘Jantana Sarkar,’ recruiting youth, propagating Maoist ideology, and planning attacks against law enforcement. A considerable amount of weapons and explosive materials were also seized. This included a 12-bore BGL launcher gun, two BGL bombs, one tiffin bomb, a detonator, 24 pencil cells, and other electronic devices. The operation is considered a major win for the police in the Naxal-affected region.
