Sai commemorated the beginning of the 25-week long silver jubilee celebrations of Chhattisgarh, acknowledging that the state’s progress is due to Vajpayee’s contributions. The year has been dedicated as Atal Nirman Varsh to honor Vajpayee, which includes dedicated funds for infrastructure development. Sai referenced Vajpayee’s goals for Chhattisgarh’s development and highlighted the Chhattisgarh Anjor Vision-2047 roadmap. Sai shared his personal experiences, including his time as a Member of Parliament during Vajpayee’s premiership, and his appreciation for Vajpayee’s speeches. He underscored Vajpayee’s emphasis on the importance of principles and values in politics, and that politics is about dialogue, consensus, and compassion.
