A fatal road accident in Chhattisgarh resulted in the deaths of six individuals from Indore. The incident occurred in the Rajnandgaon district when the car they were traveling in collided with a truck. The group was on their way to Odisha, having visited Ujjain earlier. The accident took place near the Chirchari village. The Ertiga car reportedly crossed the divider before crashing into a truck. Five people died at the scene, and two others were seriously injured. One of the injured later died at the hospital. The police have identified the deceased as Akash Maurya, Govind, Aman Rathore, Nitin Yadav, Sangram Keshari, and another. The driver, Sagar Yadav, is currently hospitalized. Police have initiated an investigation into the incident, and the families of the victims have been informed.
