The new academic session in Chhattisgarh started with Shala Utsav on June 16th. In response to the extreme heat conditions, school timings have been altered. The School Education Department has issued an order to this effect. From June 17th to June 21st, classes will be conducted from 7:00 AM to 11:00 AM. Normal school timings will resume from June 23rd. The new academic year also marks the beginning of initiatives focused on improving the quality of education. School officials will be monitoring infrastructure, the standard of teaching and student-teacher interaction.
