Raipur January 5, 2026/Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai paid respectful tribute to Padmashree Rajmohini Devi, a strong symbol of social consciousness and public service, on her death anniversary on January 6.
Chief Minister Shri Sai said that the life of the late Rajmohini Devi, who emerged from tribal society and struggled lifelong against social evils and superstition, is an inspiring saga of social change. Chief Minister Shri Sai said that Rajmohini Devi did remarkable work, especially for the rights, self-respect, and self-reliance of tribal women. She made it her mission to awaken the public against alcoholism, malpractices, and exploitation and played an important role in making society aware.
Chief Minister Shri Sai said that the selfless service, indomitable courage, and dedication to public welfare of the late Rajmohini Devi will continue to inspire future generations to work for social justice, equality, and human dignity. Her life and work will always remain a guiding light for society.
