‘Mann Ki Baat’ Brings Positive Initiatives from Every Corner of the Country to the Forefront: Chief Minister Shri Sai
Raipur, February 22, 2026/Today, Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai listened to the 131st episode of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s popular radio program ‘Mann Ki Baat’ along with public representatives and distinguished citizens at the Chief Minister’s Residence Office in the state capital, Raipur. On this occasion, Union Minister of State Shri Tokhan Sahu, Health Minister Shri Shyam Bihari Jaiswal, Tourism Minister Shri Rajesh Agarwal, MLA Shri Prabodh Minz, Chairman of Chhattisgarh Beverages Corporation Shri Srinivas Maddi, Vice Chairman of Chhattisgarh Tribal Local Health Tradition and Medicinal Plants Board Shri Anjay Shukla, Shri Akhilesh Soni, and many other public representatives and distinguished citizens were present.
Chief Minister Shri Sai said that Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s program has become a powerful dialogue that inspires countrymen towards positive thinking, innovation, and nation-building. He said that ‘Mann Ki Baat’ is not just a radio program but a platform that brings forward inspiring efforts and extraordinary achievements happening in every corner of the country, strengthening the spirit of service, innovation, and participation in society. He added that everyone eagerly awaits its broadcast every month.
Chief Minister Shri Sai stated that Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, in his address, gave a message of a new direction to the country by mentioning India’s growing capabilities and future possibilities in the field of Artificial Intelligence. The world has appreciated India’s technological prowess at the recently held Global AI Impact Summit in Delhi, and the launch of three ‘Made in India’ AI models is proof of the country’s innovation capacity. He said that Chhattisgarh is also rapidly advancing towards technological leadership through innovation, startup culture, and robust digital infrastructure.
Chief Minister Shri Sai mentioned that the Prime Minister, in his address, highlighted the country’s achievements in the agricultural sector, stating that more than 500 varieties of paddy are cultivated in India, and the country has become the world’s largest rice producer. He said that the tireless hard work of farmers across the country, including Chhattisgarh, continuous research by scientists, and the government’s visionary policies have made a significant contribution to this achievement. This is a result that strengthens the resolve of self-reliant India.
Addressing the use of Artificial Intelligence in veterinary and dairy management through Amul, and the efforts to preserve and translate ancient texts like ‘Sushruta Samhita,’ the Prime Minister highlighted it as an excellent example of the coordination between Indian knowledge tradition and modern technology. He said that it demonstrates the power of both India’s tradition and technology.
Chief Minister Shri Sai cited the example of 10-month-old girl Alin Sherin Abraham from Kerala’s decision to donate organs, calling it an unparalleled example of humanity. He paid homage to the girl’s parents and said that their decision will give new life to many and will be an inspiration to increase awareness about organ donation in society.
Chief Minister highlighted that the Prime Minister also gave an important message to be cautious about cybercrimes like digital fraud and ‘digital arrest,’ and to be aware of KYC and banking security, which is very relevant in today’s digital age. In addition, the Prime Minister mentioned the achievements of players of Indian origin in the T20 World Cup, the installation of a statue of C. Rajagopalachari at the ‘Rajaji Utsav’ organized at Rashtrapati Bhavan, a message of confidence for examinees, and extended greetings to countrymen on the auspicious occasions of Ramadan and Holi, calling for ‘Vocal for Local’.
