Chhattisgarh is set to improve its educational infrastructure with the allocation of ₹114 crore for 18 central libraries. The Urban Administration Department has approved the funds, which will facilitate the construction of central libraries and reading zones in 17 urban bodies, including cities such as Sukma, Dantewada, Surajpur, Baikunthpur, and Chirmiri. This project will benefit young people preparing for competitive exams, providing a space for focused study and access to educational resources. The directive to implement this project was issued after approval by the Minister of Urban Administration and Development, Arun Sao.
