Chief Minister Shri Vishnudev Sai held a high-level review meeting to complete recruitment examinations with transparency and timeliness.
Raipur January 5, 2026/Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai held a high-level meeting with senior officials at Mantralaya Mahanadi Bhavan and comprehensively reviewed the various recruitment examinations being conducted in the state. The main objective of the meeting is to ensure that the recruitment processes are completed in a completely transparent, fair, and time-bound manner. Deputy Chief Minister Shri Vijay Sharma was also present during this.
Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai said that youth prepare for competitive examinations with hard work and dedication, hence the government is committed to ensuring that they do not face any injustice. He directed that all recruitment examinations be conducted transparently and the examination system be further strengthened in line with current challenges. He said that any negligence or irregularity at any level in the examination process will not be tolerated and all necessary steps will be taken to ensure fairness.
Chief Minister Shri Sai said that all measures to increase transparency will be seriously worked upon so that no question mark is raised on the sanctity of the examinations. He said that improving the recruitment process is among the top priorities of the government. This will make the recruitment system in the state simpler, more equitable, and time-bound. The recruitment processes underway in various departments, including the police force, were also reviewed in the meeting, and instructions were given to make the selection system more effective.
The current system of different departments conducting separate examinations for posts with similar eligibility was also discussed in the meeting. The proposal to conduct a joint recruitment examination for posts with similar eligibility was considered. This will not only save time and resources but will also enable departments to get human resources on time.
A detailed discussion was also held regarding making the PSC examination system more contemporary, transparent, and candidate-friendly. It was also considered that the syllabus for competitive examinations should be made more relevant in accordance with current requirements and contemporary topics.
