Father-Daughter Duo Sent to Jail for Murdering Woman in Ambikapur

Authorities in Ambikapur have taken a man and his daughter into custody following the death of his wife, Durga Chaudhary. The investigation revealed that the family was under significant stress due to the victim’s alcohol dependency. A verbal spat on December 29 turned violent, during which the father and daughter duo allegedly beat the woman severely. Although she received medical attention at a local hospital, she could not survive the trauma. The Kotwali police confirmed that the accused have confessed to the assault during interrogation.
