Satyapal Malik, a former governor, has passed away. He was 78 years old. He had been battling illness for a considerable duration and breathed his last on August 5th at RML Hospital. Before his transition to a critic, Malik was a prominent figure within the BJP. He had been under medical care at Delhi’s Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital since May 2025, and his condition was critical. The nation is in mourning following his demise. He was admitted to the ICU because of complications from a severe urinary tract infection and kidney failure. The hospital announced his death this afternoon. Earlier this week, the former Jharkhand Chief Minister Shibu Soren also died in Delhi at Sir Ganga Ram Hospital.
