A significant number of Maoist insurgents, totaling 50 individuals including 32 women, have surrendered to security forces in Kanker, Chhattisgarh. Hopes are high for an even larger group of about 120 Naxals to surrender in Bijapur by Thursday, as outreach initiatives gain momentum.
