A shocking incident occurred in the Lacha village of the Kotwali police station area, Surajpur, where a man killed his wife during a drunken brawl. The couple, who were both alcoholics, were drinking together when a heated argument ensued. The argument soon turned physical, with the husband attacking his wife with a sharp weapon, resulting in her death. Overcome by intoxication, the husband slept alongside the body overnight. It was only in the morning, when the effects of the alcohol wore off, that the man realized what had happened. He was arrested at the scene, and the police are conducting further investigation into the crime.
