Chaos erupted at the MCH Hospital in Raipur following the suicide of a patient who jumped from the third floor. The patient, Santosh Dhruv, was a 38-year-old resident of Pandariya village in Bilaspur district and was admitted on July 21st for treatment of rabies. His treatment was taking place on the third floor of the hospital, in an isolation ward. The incident has caused a state of alarm within the hospital and among the administration. There are claims that the MCH administration is trying to suppress the details of the incident. The family of the deceased are also reportedly facing challenges because a post-mortem examination hasn’t been conducted yet.
