The Raipur police have made arrests in connection with a gold fraud case where a mother and son are accused of swapping counterfeit gold bracelets for genuine gold from jewelers. The criminals targeted jewelry stores in both Raipur and Bilaspur, executing their scheme successfully. The police recovered a gold bracelet, a gold chain, cash, and a car used in the fraudulent activities, with a total estimated value of around 8.5 lakh rupees.
