The district administration in Pendra has taken strong action following reported shortcomings in the implementation of the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana. Secretary Rajkumar Sharma of Tendumuda Gram Panchayat has been suspended for negligence and lack of attention to duties. A show-cause notice has also been served to Jyoti Kashyap, the employment assistant for the same panchayat. Furthermore, instructions have been issued to relocate the secretary of Thadpathra Gram Panchayat with immediate effect. This action was initiated under the direction of District Panchayat CEO Surendra Prasad Vaid. He has made it clear that any form of negligence regarding government schemes will not be accepted. All panchayat employees have been cautioned that stringent measures will be taken against individuals who impede the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, which is considered a vital scheme. The administration’s strictness has caused a noticeable impact within the panchayats, and other panchayats have been instructed to execute the schemes promptly and transparently.
