The district administration in Pendra has taken stern measures in response to the unsatisfactory implementation of the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PM Awas Yojana). The secretary of Tendumuda Gram Panchayat, Rajkumar Sharma, has been suspended due to negligence and a lack of diligence. The Employment Assistant of the same panchayat, Jyoti Kashyap, has also received a show-cause notice. The secretary of Thadpathra Gram Panchayat has been ordered to be transferred immediately. These actions were taken on the instructions of District Panchayat CEO Surendra Prasad Vaidh, who has made it clear that any negligence in government schemes will not be tolerated. He has warned all panchayat employees, stating that strict action will be taken against anyone obstructing the PM Awas Yojana.
