The Pendra administration is taking strong action against officials due to issues in the implementation of the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana. Rajkumar Sharma, the Secretary of Tendumuda Gram Panchayat, has been suspended for negligence and lack of attention to duty. Jyoti Kashyap, the employment assistant of the same panchayat, has been served a show cause notice. The secretary of Thadpathra Gram Panchayat has been ordered to be transferred immediately. This action was taken on the orders of District Panchayat CEO Surendra Prasad Vaid, who made it clear that negligence in government projects will not be tolerated. He warned all panchayat staff that strict action will be taken against anyone causing delays in the crucial PM Awas Yojana. This strong action has caused a stir among the panchayats, with all other panchayats now instructed to ensure timely and transparent implementation of schemes.
