Raipur police have arrested three individuals, including a woman, following a raid on a suspected prostitution den in Professor Colony, Purani Basti area. Acting on a tip-off about immoral activities, the Anti-Crime and Cyber Unit conducted a raid at a residence. Akash Sahu, his female companion, and another woman were apprehended at the scene. During the investigation, it was revealed that Sahu and his accomplice were running a sex trafficking operation and exploiting a female victim. Further investigation led to the arrest of Krishanu Das, who owns multiple spas and is alleged to have been using them to facilitate prostitution. Police seized mobile phones from the accused, which contained evidence of their involvement, including incriminating chats and financial records. The arrested individuals have been charged under the Immoral Traffic (Prevention) Act of 1956, and the search for other suspects is ongoing.
