A spectacular Vijaya Dashami event took place at the WRS Colony ground in Raipur. The celebration was honored by the presence of Chhattisgarh Governor Ramen Deka and Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai. The large gathering witnessed the burning of Ravana and a thrilling fireworks display, enjoying the festivities for an extended period. Governor Ramen Deka emphasized that the festival of Vijaya Dashami is a time for self-examination. He encouraged everyone to resolve to let go of their inner negativity and contribute positively to society and the nation’s progress. Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai, while addressing the audience, conveyed that the Dussehra festival symbolizes the victory of dharma over adharma, truth over falsehood, and good over evil. He inspired everyone to forsake negative thoughts and actions, and to follow the path of righteousness. The event saw the attendance of Agriculture Minister Ramvichar Netam, MLA Purandar Mishra, along with numerous public representatives, event organizers, and devotees.
