Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai declared that the Tiranga Yatra is more than a mere program; it’s a demonstration of patriotism, symbolizing India’s unity, integrity, and sovereignty. He stated that the tricolor represents our pride and honor, and every citizen must be dedicated to its protection and respect. True respect for the freedom fighters will be achieved when the tricolor is displayed in every home, and India becomes economically and culturally stronger.
Addressing the crowd with chants of ‘Bharat Mata Ki Jai’ and ‘Chhattisgarh Mahtari Ki Jai,’ Chief Minister Sai noted that under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership, India is rising as a strong and respected nation. He highlighted the bravery and valor of our soldiers in Operation Sindoor, following the recent cowardly attack in Pahalgam, calling it a moment of pride for the entire country, which elevated the honor of the tricolor.
He emphasized that the true value of the tricolor will grow as the country becomes economically powerful. In line with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision for a developed India by 2047, Chhattisgarh has also set a target for a developed Chhattisgarh. The Chhattisgarh Anjor Vision document has been prepared, presenting a detailed plan for the overall development of the state.
Chief Minister Sai urged all citizens to actively participate in the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign and to remember the freedom fighters by displaying the tricolor in their homes.
A grand Tiranga Yatra was organized in Raipur as part of the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign launched at the call of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, under the Amrit Mahotsav of Independence. Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai participated in the Tiranga Yatra from Shaheed Smarak Bhavan to Telibandha, walking with thousands of citizens and spreading the message of patriotism. The entire route resonated with the slogans of ‘Bharat Mata Ki Jai’ and ‘Vande Mataram’ during the yatra.
On this occasion, Raipur MP Brijmohan Agrawal said that the tricolor is our honor, campaign, and identity. He said that Tiranga Yatras are being organized throughout the country under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He added that Chhattisgarh is progressing towards progress and happiness under the leadership of Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai. This Tiranga Yatra is dedicated to those brave soldiers who sacrificed everything to protect it. Former soldiers from the state who made notable contributions in various military operations were also honored.
Legislator Kiran Singh Deo said that the tricolor is our identity and our greatest strength. It unites us and reminds us that we are all one India. He also said that Chhattisgarh is rapidly progressing on the path of development under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the guidance of Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai.
Many dignitaries were present at the Tiranga Yatra, including MLA Sunil Soni, Motilal Sahu, Purandar Mishra, Mayor Minal Choubey, President of Chhattisgarh Tourism Board Nilu Sharma, President of Raipur Development Authority Nand Kumar Sahu, President of Chhattisgarh State Civil Supplies Corporation Sanjay Srivastava, President of Chhattisgarh Sahitya Akademi Shashank Sharma, and President of CSIDIC Rajiv Agarwal, along with many public representatives, officials, and a large number of distinguished citizens.
