Bhagwant Mann, the Chief Minister of Punjab, has been admitted to Fortis Hospital due to a worsening of his health condition. He had been unwell for a few days, initially advised to rest. However, his condition prompted doctors to recommend hospitalization on Friday. Arvind Kejriwal, the former Delhi CM and AAP convenor, visited the Chief Minister’s residence to check on his health. Sukhpal Singh Khaira, a Congress MLA, expressed reservations about the choice of hospital, questioning why Mann was not treated at the Aam Aadmi Clinic in Mohali, a facility the AAP has praised for its healthcare services. Concurrently, amid severe flooding in Punjab, the Chief Minister announced the appointment of a gazetted officer for each village to improve communication and support for those affected by the disaster.
