Dr. Mohan Yadav, the Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh, is encouraging all citizens to hoist the Indian flag in their homes for Independence Day as part of the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign. The campaign aims to foster a sense of national pride and unity across the state. The Chief Minister shared a social media post with his own picture holding the tricolor to inspire participation. The campaign is organized in three stages. The first stage from August 2nd to 8th involves creating a patriotic atmosphere, organizing events, and public discussions about the flag. The second stage from August 9th to 12th focuses on wider publicity, flag distribution, and showcasing the tricolor in public places. The third stage from August 13th to 15th involves hoisting the flag at homes, offices, and vehicles, along with sharing selfies and information. The campaign is a joint initiative of the Central Department of Drinking Water and Sanitation, Ministry of Jal Shakti, and Ministry of Culture, emphasizing collective celebration and civic unity. The campaign will involve various activities at the village level, including community cleanliness drives, flag hoisting ceremonies, and engagement with local organizations.
