Sunday’s iftar bash at Hyderabad’s iconic LB Stadium became a rallying cry for unity as Telangana CM Revanth Reddy vowed supreme focus on Muslim advancement. Addressing the government-hosted event, he laid bare his administration’s roadmap amid Ramzan’s sanctity.

Revanth Reddy warned of political maneuvers designed to inflame communal strife through religious polarization. Lauding the iftar for observers of the fast, he called Ramzan a profound period of spiritual renewal.

‘Let’s build stronger bonds of fraternity and dwell in peaceful coexistence,’ the CM exhorted, emphasizing that religious solidarity is key to national growth. He called out entities bent on fracturing communal ties.

Touting milestones, he named Mohammad Azharuddin’s cabinet berth, Mohammad Ali Shabbir’s advisory role, and eight corporation appointments for minority stalwarts. The spotlight also fell on sports icons: cricketer Siraj’s elevation to DSP and boxer Nikhat Zareen’s Rs 2 crore accolade.

On policy fronts, allocations for minority schemes shone through, with a nod to the 4% quota legacy from YS Rajasekhara Reddy’s time in undivided Andhra, which unlocked opportunities galore. ‘Your government, your brother here—grant us your goodwill,’ he said endearingly.

Rallying for progress, Revanth Reddy envisioned a united push to crown Telangana as India’s top young state. The iftar drew heavyweights like Minister Azharuddin, Owaisi, Shabbir, and diverse leaders.
