At least 1,336 challans have been issued by the Traffic Police in Delhi on New Year’s eve throughout the nationwide capital.
According to the police, a complete of 706 challans have been issued for unauthorised parking. For drunken driving, cops issued 26 challans and 174 for harmful driving.
According to Manish Okay Agrawal, Jt. CP Traffic, stated that the marketing campaign and enchantment achieved by press had an excellent impact and residents of Delhi exhibited very restrained behaviour on roads.
“This year the traffic congestion and violations noted were much less,” he stated.
Police stated visitors congestion and violations famous have been a lot much less this time.
